Social media campaign has a go at city’s new logo, slogan

This little tale from across the pond goes to show how social media encourages people to get involved, regardless of whether or not they have been asked to by the powers that be.

A newly unveiled slogan and the logo of purple mountains atop a green swoosh isn’t proving so popular with some in the Pikes Peak region, where some people have taken to Facebook to voice their displeasure with Tuesday’s announcement.
