Here’s a nice example of a hospital using social media to engage properly

This hospital had been on Facebook for quite a while and then they decided to ramp up their engagement by providing real time Q&A sessions about health matters.  They call it  lunch and learn.

According to the article in www.courierpress.com Lunch & Learn was born at the beginning of last year, an hour devoted to a set topic with physicians, nurses, counselors and other specialists standing by to post answers to questions. The hospital had been on Facebook “for a while,” said Deaconess spokesman Sam Rogers, “when we decided to reach out with some practical medical advice.” full article here
